Michael Zagari, C.W. Post | Goalie Training

Mike graduated NJ ’s, Bridgewater-Raritan High School in 1998 (State Champs) where he earned All-State, All-Conference and All-Division honors in the net. He moved on to a successful college career at C.W. Post where he started between the pipes for 2 years. Mike is the head coach of Garden City Middle School and in an instructor at several camps along the east coast. Mike will be handling TeamTiger Goalie training,  in the winter and early spring, that consists of his proven methodology that includes special drills to improve hand-eye coordination, footwork, body position, clearing the ball and optimizing goalie techniques for  individual strengths.
While there are proven techniques and best practices in the cage, TeamTiger believes goalie skill development should be tailored to specific strengths … and weaknesses. Some goalies work better deep in the cage, while others work better high on the crease. One-on-one training is also available in which case, Mike can analyze strengths and put a program together that fits a specific style.
Mike lives in East Northport
Upcoming training sessions will be announced via Northport Lacrosse Club’s TigerMail.
