It’s official, TeamTiger will be taking ouR U10, U11, U12 and U13 teams into tournament play in the spring. The MAVERICK TOP RANK LACROSSE TOURNAMENT is a town team tournament that’s in the same location as the fall tournament we attended. It’s close to home and will not interfere with Northport Lacrosse Club Spring Commitments.

We are still researching tournaments for one of these weekends, but whichever one we choose it will be local and not require overnight accommodations. As soon as we determine which tournament to attend we will update this post.

TOURNAMENT #2 UMASS

Saturday, July 7/Sunday, July 8

We will again be attending the New England All-Star Lacrosse Tournament at UMASS. TeamTiger will attempt to secure blocks of hotel rooms but we highly recommend you begin booking hotels now.

TOURNAMENT #3 BLUE & GOLD at Hofstra

We will again be attending the Blue & Gold Lacrosse Tournament at Hofstra.

TOURNAMENT #4 TENTATIVE

Wednesday July 18/Thursday, July 19

Location: Vet’s Field in East Northport
Fee: Included in TeamTiger Fee

We are currently investigating the possibility of hosting a weekday tournament.  The tournament would include a number of Town of Huntington teams and would take place the two weeknights. As soon as details are “firmed up” we will update this post and send out an email with the details.

In our 2011 survey, families indicated that they would like to see the TeamTiger summer season extend through the end of January. They also indicated that they would prefer to have 4 summer tournaments. For now, we are penciling in a tournament for one of these two weekends, but  will be an additional cost estimated $100.
