Summer Lacrosse Camp Questions

Please review the evolving list of Frequently Asked Questions below before contacting us.

When is your Summer TigerCamp?

The dates for our next summer lacrosse camp can be found in the LACROSSE CAMPS section of this site. Specific information about the boys and girls camps can be found in the LACROSSE CAMP BOYS or GIRLS sections. To navigate to these sections use the above navigation bar.

Who can participate in your Summer TigerCamp?

TigerCamp is open to any rising 2nd through 9th grade boy or girl.

The term “rising” was coined specifically for summer teams and camps to help alleviate confusion regarding what grade your are speaking of when you are in the “in-between” summer time frame … “Is it the Grade I was just in, or the grade I’m going into?” The grades noted above are the grades you are going or “rising” into.

How much does it cost?

Our full-day boys camp tuition is $200. Our half-day peanuts camp is $110. Our girls camp is only half-day and the tuition is $110. In all cases a $100 deposit is  paid online.  For full day camp, the deposit is $100 and the $100 balance is due at camp check-in. For half day camps, the deposits are $100 and the $10 balance is due at check in. Multiple child discounts will be applied when you pay your deposit.

Who are the instructors?

Camp instructors include high school and middle school coaches both from within and outside the Northport School District. Additionally, we feature a specially selected group of current or recently graduated college players from top Division 1 and 2 schools including Virginia, Notre Dame, Duke, University of Florida, Georgetown, UMass, Johns Hopkins, NYIT and others. As we get firm commitments we will update our staff section. We also have a good number of High School volunteers that help ensure we have a very good counselor to camper ration… always less then 10 to 1.

What does the camp include?

TigerCamp includes 4 half or full days of contemporary lacrosse instruction from a staff we will put up against any camp in the nation. All campers will receive a custom camp reversible, lanyard and other free gift. The camp will also feature daily raffle prizes and camper-of-the-day awards.

What do I need to bring to the camp?

All campers are responsible for bringing their own equipment. Water stations will be at several locations on the camp grounds but campers are welcome to bring their own water bottles or sport drinks. Lunch is not included, but as the date approaches we may offer a SUBWAY lunch option. For more detail about what to bring, expect and other advice, please visit out Important Info section

What level of experience do I need to go to your Summer Lacrosse Camp

TigerCamp is open to lacrosse players of all skill and experience levels. If you’ve never played lacrosse and would like to give it a try, TigerCamp may be the perfect testing ground. We do try to group campers of like skill- levels together, but no matter what the case we will get all campers a lot of time with fellow players and instructors.

What about lunch?

Lunch is not included, but as the date approaches we may offer a SUBWAY lunch option. Campers that bring their own lunch should pack their lunch in a proper container as it will be stored outside in our central tent area.
